The Ground Up – Houston’s Premier Landscape Supply Company to sponsor holiday recycling initiative

HOUSTON (December 26, 2010) — Don’t trash your tree this holiday season, recycle it!  The Ground Up (TGU) is happily accepting donated Christmas trees throughout the month of January to be ground into mulch.  Houstonians can drop off their trees to TGU’s main site in Northwest Houston or at their new location in the Richmond/ Katy area.  Make it a resolution this new year to keep your used tree out of a landfill and give it back to the Earth!
